As part of a DEA narcoterrorism sting in which informants posed as members of the FARC, Faouzi Jaber, 61, of Ivory Coast, agreed to sell the undercover informants more than $8 million worth of weapons. Jaber traveled to Accra, Ghana, and Warsaw, Poland, to have conversations about the supposed arms deal. Jaber was arrested in Prague and later extradited to the United States.
